Scenes / Chases / Playlists Grid

This is Live’s main “button panel” — a large grid from which you launch all your prepared content: scenes, chases and playlists. It also has search and filters so you can quickly find what you need even in a big show.

📍 Where: Live → the center-right zone, the “Scenes, Chases and Playlists” block (it takes up most of the screen).

How to use:

  1. Press a button — the scene/chase/playlist turns on. Press the same button again — it turns off. The active button is highlighted and glows.
  2. Flash on a scene: hold the lightning icon ⚡ in the corner of a scene button — the scene runs while you hold it and turns off when you release.
  3. Search: start typing in the “Search by name…” field — the list filters.

Colors hint at the type:

Type Look
Scene blue dot
Chase amber icon
Playlist green list icon

Filters and view (top of the block):

Toggle What it does
Favorites / All Show only favorites or all of them. (With a bank selected, the list filters by bank and this toggle is hidden.)
Large Enlarges the buttons — so you can hit them from afar and in a dark hall

Right-click any button to open the Edit / Delete menu.

💡 Tip: “Large” mode is an underrated detail. The stage is dark, you’re standing away from the laptop — large buttons save you from misses. Turned on with a single toggle.
⚠️ Note: if the list is empty because you’re on “Favorites” and haven’t starred anything yet — the program will prompt you and offer a “Show all” button. It’s more convenient to mark favorites in advance, in the Programmer.
