The BPM panel is the “heart of the rhythm.” It sets the tempo that chases and effects follow. Catch the track’s tempo and all the dynamic light moves precisely on the beat.
📍 Where: Live → the right column, the “BPM” block (visible in DJ mode; hidden in Quiet Scene; first press the “Sound” button in the app’s top toolbar).
How to set the tempo:
- By ear (TAP): tap the TAP button in time with the music (at least twice) — the program calculates the BPM itself. The T key does the same.
- Manually: click the large BPM number and enter a value (from 30 to 300).
- ÷2 / ×2: these buttons halve or double the tempo — handy if the program caught a “half” or “double” tempo.
The metronome indicator (the circle below the number) flashes on the beat:

💡 Tip: at a loud concert the microphone may “hear” too much. If your DJ software sends MIDI clock — choose MIDI, for a perfectly steady tempo with no tapping by ear.
