The Sound Monitor shows how the program “hears” the music: whether it’s catching the kick-drum beats and whether it has locked a stable rhythm. This is the sound setup and diagnostics window — use it to tune beat detection for a specific room and track.
What the indicators show:

Fine-tuning controls (the set depends on the “By tempo / By beat” mode):

The gear button ⚙ opens the full sound settings window: source selection (microphone / system / MIDI), the “By tempo / By beat” mode and all the faders — the same as what’s available below the visualizer.
💡 Tip: if the light “isn’t hitting” the kick — first raise the Sensitivity. If that doesn’t help — play with the Low/High bounds: the kick is usually in the very lowest frequencies, so a narrow low range often catches it more accurately.
⚠️ Note: when sound is off, the block shows “Sound off” — you can turn it on and pick a source via the gear ⚙ or in the BPM panel.
