The Interface window: the look of the elements

The Interface window lets you choose how the main elements of the work area look — fixture cards, faders, lists. Each element has two styles: Modern (contemporary, the default) and Classic (stricter, closer to traditional DMX programs). It’s a matter of taste — the functionality is the same.

📍 Where: View → Interface….

What you can adjust:

Setting Options What it affects
Fixture cards Modern / Classic The look of fixture cards in Program mode
Card fill Yes / No Whether to tint a fixture card with its current color
Faders Modern / Classic The look of channel faders
List cards Modern / Classic The look of scene, chase, playlist and preset cards

All changes apply instantly — pick one and look at the work area, there’s nothing to save. The settings are remembered between sessions.

The program language

The same window is where you pick the interface language — the language of every label in the program. By default it follows your system language; here you can change it by hand: pick the language you want from the list, the current one has a check mark. It applies immediately, no restart needed, and the choice is remembered.

⚠️ Only the interface labels are translated. The names of your scenes, chases, fixtures and projects stay exactly as you wrote them — the program does not translate them.
💡 Tip: “Classic” may be more convenient for those coming from other DMX programs who are used to their strict look. If in doubt, leave it on “Modern”.
