Keyboard shortcuts and tooltips

All key combinations are gathered in a single reference window inside the program (the Help menu), and here’s the full summary with explanations. The most common ones are worth memorizing: in a show, a key is faster than the mouse.

Global (work in any mode)

T TAP Tempo — tap out the tempo (07.22)
Space Blackout — instantly kill everything / bring it back
H Highlight — highlight the selected fixtures for focusing
S (hold) Strobe, while held
D (hold) Blinder, while held
G (hold) Smoke, while held
Alt + 1…5 Switch modes: Prog / Live / Patch / Console / AI

→ / ← Chase/playlist step forward / back when the selected group has no Pan/Tilt
1–4 Select a fixture group (1 = All)
Delete Delete the selected fixtures; or the selected list items (see below)
Ctrl/Shift + click Select several scenes/chases/presets/playlists in a list (Ctrl — one at a time, Shift — a range), then Delete removes them all at once
Ctrl + Shift + V Layout without the visualizer (3 vertical blocks)

In Live mode

The “?” tooltips and the overview tour

  • “?” icons are placed throughout the interface — hover over one and an explanation of the element appears in plain language. If you forget what a button does, look for the “?” next to it.
  • Help → App tour will walk you through the main parts of the interface again — handy to return to after your first look around.
