Freeze is the “pause” for moving light. Sometimes a chase or effect lands on an especially beautiful frame and you want to hold it. Press Freeze and the steps of chases and effects will freeze on the current frame. The light does not go out (unlike Blackout) — it simply stops changing.
How to use it:
- Wait for the moment you want to hold.
- Press Freeze (or the F key). The button lights up blue — the motion is stopped.
- Press it again — chases and effects resume from where they were caught.
| What gets frozen | What keeps working |
|---|---|
| Chase steps | Launching new scenes |
| Effect steps | Grand Master, Blackout |
💡 Tip: Freeze is great for a “freeze-frame” on a musical accent or a line on stage — lock in the striking moment, hold the pause, then let it go.
