Cue Transport

The cue transport is the “show-caller’s console”: large buttons for walking through the show cue by cue, step by step. It appears in Quiet Scene mode, in the spot where a DJ would have the sound panels.

📍 Where: Live → turn on Quiet Scene mode → the panel appears at the top of the center-right zone.

Controls:

Button Action
Back Previous playlist cue
GO (large) Next step — “smart” (see below)
Pause Stop the running crossfader transition; the next GO resumes it from the same point

Below the buttons are two readouts: “Now” (the current cue) and “Next” (the upcoming one), so you always see what is playing and what comes next.

If a cue is an overlay (an “on top” step in the playlist editor), a “+” icon appears before its name on the readout: such a step is added to what is already playing without turning it off. A “■” icon marks a stop cue — it extinguishes the named element while everything else keeps playing. A cue with no icon replaces everything that was playing before it.

The smart GO button figures out what to do on its own:

  • if a playlist is running — it moves to the next playlist cue;
  • if there is no playlist — it runs a smooth crossfader A→B transition over the Fade Time.

A hint “▸ …” appears on the GO button itself, showing what will happen when you press it.

🎭 For theater: build the performance as a playlist of cues, switch Live to Quiet Scene — and run the show with a single large GO button, exactly to the script. “Back” saves you when you need to return to a cue.
⚠️ Note: the Back button and the cue list work when a playlist is running. Pause is active only while a crossfader transition is in progress.
💡 Tip: Pause does not reset the transition, it freezes it. Press GO again and the app plays out exactly the remaining time, so the overall move is not stretched. If you touch the fader by hand after pausing, the transition counts as cancelled: the next GO runs the full Fade Time.
