Solo and Mute are two buttons for quickly doing “turn off everything but this” or “silence exactly this”. They appear on the submasters that have a fixture group assigned (a system group or one of your own).
📍 Where: Live → the “Submasters” block → below a group fader, two small buttons, S and M.
How to use it:
- Assign a fader to a fixture group (see 07.16).
- The S (Solo) and M (Mute) buttons appear below the fader:
— S — Solo (lights up amber): only this group stays on stage, the rest are dimmed.
— M — Mute (lights up red): this group is silenced, the rest of the light keeps working.
- Press the same button again to remove the Solo or Mute.
| Button | Action |
|---|---|
| S (Solo) | Leave only this group on stage |
| M (Mute) | Silence this group |
💡 Tip: Solo is handy during setup — isolate one group, check how it lights and where it’s aimed, then turn Solo off. Mute is for removing something on the fly (for example, dimming the lasers during a calm moment).
💡 Tip: if a Solo or Mute is still on somewhere and the picture is behaving oddly, holding Reset clears them all at once.
